League Champions 2008 - Under 11s
Congratulations go to a fantastic performance by the Upton FC Under 11 team who won their league in the 2007/08 season. Well done everyone, a great achievement.

Team Trials for 2008/09
The current Under 11 team - Under 12s for 2008/09 - will be holding player trials to recruit players for the forthcoming 2008/09 season. Eligible players will be going into Year 7 in Sept 2008.
As a championship winning team, the team are looking for exceptional players to improve the squad, though everyone is welcome to try out. The trials will run from May 10th through to early July when squad selection will be made.

Under 14 Trials 2008/09
The forthcoming season’s Under 14 team will be holding a two-week trial, starting on Thursday 5th June 2008. This is for the Under 14 squad only.
The purpose of this trial period is to assess both overall interest, in terms of initial turnout, and the abilities of each individual player.
Potential squad members are invited to read the Club Policies and Club Code of Conduct, before attending the trials.

Girls Under 10 Win
Upton FC are very proud of our Girls Under 10 Team. Congratulations go to the team, manager Kelly Jones and all supporters who have all contributed to a great season. The team won a Cheshire FA invitational tournament and finished a magnificient second in the league.
Annual Presentation Day
This year’s Annual Presentation Day will be held at Heswall Royal British Legion, Pensby Road, Heswall on Saturday 7th June 2008.
The presentations will be split into the following groups:
- 12 noon to 2pm - Under 6, Under 7, Under 8, Under 9
- 3pm to 5pm - Under 10, Under 11, Under 12
- 7.30pm to 11.00pm - Under 13, Under 14, Under 15, Under 16, Youth and Adult teams
Guests of Honour will present awards for every player. Soccer Star Certificates, Club Awards and Team awards will also be presented. Admission is by ticket only due to the success of last year’s event and Health and Safety restrictions on numbers. Tickets are £3.00 each for Adults – all children free. The event is not suitable for really young children. Tickets must be purchased from any staff member before the event. A disco and buffet will be included in the evening session – tickets purchased will be valid for all sessions if people want to return for the evening session disco.
A bus will leave the Eagle and Crown at 7.00 pm and return after the event to the Eagle and Crown – return fare £5.00 adults, all children free. Tickets from any member of staff.

The next management meeting for Upton FC will be held on 27th May 2008. The meeting will be held at the Eagle & Crown and starts promptly at 7.30pm.
