Wirral Cup – Good News and Not So Good News
A fantastic weekend of Cup success meant that two of the three Upton F.C. teams progressed through in their respective Wirral District Cup ties.
The Under 12’s took on Young Lions and won through on Penalties after the sides were locked together 2 – 2 after full time. Man of the match for Upton was Matthew Clare.
The under 14 unfortunately went down to a very good Glenavon side 0 – 4.
Better news for the under 16 side who again won through following a penalty shoot out. Credit to Parkfield Liscard who played their part in a great game.
