Race Night September 25th

September 1, 2010 · Filed Under Club News · Comment

We are holding a  race night in order to raise money from the club for the forth coming season.

It will be held at the Eagle and Crown function room in Upton village on Saturday 25th September 2010; it will start at 7.30pm and finish about 11.30pm.

Tickets will be priced at £3 each and this will include a light buffet half way through.   If you can let your manager know if you want to attend and give him the money for the tickets.

This is an adult event and no one will be allowed to come if they are under the age of 18.

There is the opportunity for companies or individuals to sponsor the 9 races for £10

We will be selling “horses” so if anyone is interested in buying horse for £1 then let me know by email or telephone. You must come up with a good name for the horse as well. There will be 9 races in total of which 8 we will be selling horses with 8 horses in each.

There will be a prize for the owner of each winning horse.

All the races and horses must sold by Friday 24th September in order for me to print the programs for the event.

There is a limit of 100 tickets for this event and they will be given out on first come first serve basis.

No tickets will be available on the door on the night of the event.

We will hopefully be doing a raffle on the night so if anyone has any prizes that they wish to donate then I will be more than glad to take them off your hands for the event.

If we get this event sold out then it will be a really good night for all attending and will raise funds for the football club for the forthcoming season.
