Holland Trip
This year’s international trip for the junior teams will be to Holland. Dates are confirmed as 23rd May to 26th May 2008.
The parents meeting for this trip at Birkenhead Park Cricket Club ( in the park behind Park High School ) at 7.00pm on Tuesday 13th May. Parents should bring with them the address and telephone number of their GPs as they will be required to complete a new medical questionnaire for the trip.
The meeting is scheduled for just 30 mins but there will be ample opportunity to ask questions and meet the staff travelling with the players.
This year’s Holland trip was very successful. All attendees returned safe and well, although a little tired!
Mini Soccer Day Out at Chester Zoo
There will be a trip to Chester Zoo on 18th May 2008 for the mini soccer teams. Please contact your individual team manager for full details.
The mini soccer trip to chester zoo was very successful and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Unfortunately it was poorly attended, possibly due to the short notice given. The club recognises this and will endeavour to give more notice in future.
Club Trips
Upton Football Club continually offer players of all teams the opportunity to travel with the club. This ranges from local trips for the mini soccer teams to international trips for the slightly older boys & girls.
Recent trips have included football games at Liverpool FC, Everton FC and Tranmere Rovers FC.
Previous international trips have included Holland and Portugal.
