Upton Under 14′s boys who play in the Wallasey Junior League urgently need a good quality goalkeeper to join their sucessful team for their current campaign. You should be in school year 9 to qualify. If interested please contact Ken Taylor on 07977285113
Under 14 Knockout Cup Winners
Upton Under 14′s won the Knockout Cup for the second year running after a dramatic penalty shoot out win against Wallasey Wanderers at the weekend. At the end of full time the score was 0-0 and after a further 20 minutes of extra time the teams were still locked at 1-1 so penalties it was. No one would have predicted just how good both teams were under pressure as goal after goal was scored and every parent prayed that their son wasnt the one to miss. Eventually a Wallasey penalty was saved and Upton won 16-15 to claim the cup. This was a magnificent effort from all the lads involved with the team and a big thankyou to the massive support we received from other members of the club as well as the families and friends of the players.
