The Under 8’s – No Details

The Under 9’s –  went down 5=0 to unbeaten Spartans but could easily have drawn given the chances they created in the game, Alfie Bosworth was Man of Match

The Under 10’s –  produced a superb performance to beat Glenavon 1-0 in the Ko Cup semi final and earn a place in the final. In a tense end to end match Reece Pirie grabbed the only goal. Congratulations to Steve,Zayd and all the lads for a great effort and we look forward to great day out in the final.

Under 10s –  no game this weekend
Under 12 Rangers played league leaders ManorTorpedoes, who have a 100% record. Upton played really well in the first half, but as they tired in the second half, the league leaders took their chances running out 7 – 0 winners. Elizabeth Morgan was player of the match
Under 12s played the other Manor team, Manor Missiles. As in their recent cup game, Missiles proved to be tough opposition to overcome and, despite creating a lot of chances, Upton had to settle for a 2 – 1 win with goals from Morgan Mayes, who was also player of the match, and Elizabeth Sullivan
Under 14s  came into their last league game of the season needing a draw against Greenleas to secure 2nd place (although the league website suggests there is another game to play). Jodie Williams opened the scoring earlier on, but unfortunately the team did not build on this and were out of sorts against a lively opposition, who did not deserve to go in 1 – 0 down at half time. Despite the half time team talk, we started slowly in the second half and survived a goalmouth scramble before Charlotte Byrne’s centre was turned in to her own goal by a Greenleas defender. Greenleas had no substitues because a number of players were on a school trip, and as they tired, Isabel Nolan scored a hat trick to make the final score 5 – 0, a result which (in fairness) did not reflect the game overall. Isabel Nolan was player of the match.

The Under 11’s – drew 2-2 with high flying Peninsula Stars

The Under 12’s – went down 5-1 to Greenleas with a goal from Josh Smith and John Adediran was Man of Match

The Under 13’s – continued their recent improved form with a last gasp 2-1 win over Manor Madrid thanks to goals from Mike Cooper and Declan Smith with Tom Wilson Man of Match

The Under 14’s – had a great 2-1 over under 15’s Delta Colts, this is just reward for a number of really good performances lately, goals from Christian Rule and Tyler Smith with Harry Ashcroft Man of Match.

The Under 15’s – won 6-0 against NBS to remain top of the league thanks to 2 goals from Joe Murray and others from Tom Murphy, Mitchell Duggan, Ally Pitt & George Thomson with Tyler Brace Man of Match.
