Results from Sept 7/8th & 14/15th


Mini Soccer


The Under 7’s have played 2 games in the new 5v5 format and despite 2 defeats to Glenavon and Wallasey Wanderers they have started great scoring plenty of goals in a 7-3 & 4-3 defeats respectively. I am sure a first win is not too far away

The Under 8’s  had a great start winning their first game 12-0 against Oxton Ladies before just missing out with a 2-1 defeat to New Brighton in the second game.

The Under 9’s had a great start with a 7-0 win against New Brighton before going down 5-2 to Ashville Black in the second game.

The Under 10’s suffered a heavy defeat in the first game against Glenavon with Luke o Keefe man of match and then lost 5-1 to Wallasey Wanderers in the second game with Will Parry scoring and Luke O Keefe again man of match




Under 12s lost to a very strong Manor side in their first game before bouncing back to win a hard fought game 1-0 against Oxton Girls
Under 12s Rgrs got off to a great start winning their opening game against Heygarth before also coming up against a strong Manor side in their next game and losing out.
Under 14s have got off to a positive start winning both their games so far against Rakers 3-1 and Heygarth 5-1 to sit joint leaders of the league.
Under 16s have only played 1 game so far which was a comfortable victory against Birkenhead Ladies which also sees them sitting top of the league.



The Under 11’s had a great 2-2 draw in their first game with Spartans coming from 2-0 down thanks to 2 goals from Man of the match Alex Clarke before a wind affected game saw them concede late goals to lose 6-3 to Glenavon with goals from Alex Clarke, Dylan Davies and an OG with Alfie Bosworth Man of Match.


The Under 12’s started off with a comfortable 7-0 win over Delta Colts with a hat trick from Connor Jones 1 each for David Thomas, Reece King, Lewis Heath & Thomas Brier with Owen Burns Man of Match. The second game saw a superb 2-2 draw with main rivals for the last few years Spartans thanks to goals from Connor Jones & Thomas Carroll with Zac Hemsworth Man of the Match.


The Under 13’s started off with a heavy defeat to Hoylake Comets with Luke Malone Man of the Match before beating Hoylake Meteors 7-1 in their second game thanks to goals from Jamie Woods 2 & Waiz Stephens, David Marrin, Ben Mcallister, Dean Clark & Kyle Walsh with Ally Hughes Man of the Match.


The Under 14’s had a great performance in their first game despite losing 3-2 to Glenavon with goals from Lewis Donaldson & Michael Lynch with Jamie Anthony Man of the Match before a heavy defeat in the second game to Greenleas due to having 8 players but did grab a couple of goals through Lewis Donaldson & Lewis Harrison with Matty Conlon Man of the Match.

The Under 15’s lost heavily to title contenders Glenavon in the first game with Luke Sommers grabbing a consolation goal and Mike Cooper Man of the Match before losing 2-0 to Manor Madrid in the second game with Tom Wilson Man of the Match. 

Youth Teams


The Under 17’s have been playing since mid August and beat Ashville 2-0 with goals from Chris Turk & Scott Billington to remain unbeaten after 5 league games and currently 2nd on goal difference.


The Under 18’s have had a mixed start with a couple of wins and narrow defeats by a 1 goal margin in a number of games.


The Open Age have also had a mixed start result wise and this weekend went out of the cup after a 4-0 defeat to the Vaults
