Mini Soccer


The Under 7’s are still looking for their first win but continue to be involved in good games scoring goals going down 4-2 to AC Wirral


The Under 8’s  had another close defeat losing 3-1 to Wallasey Wanderers


The Under 9’s had a great win beating Olympic 7-0 to continue their good start


The Under 10’s suffered a 3-0 defeat to Spartans with Luke O Keefe man of match





Under 12s and Under 12 Rangers took their records of one win and one loss apiece into their first “derby match” of the season. An evenly contested game ended fairly with a draw, with Lauren Porteous scoring and player of the match for Upton, and Tessie Nickson scoring, and also player of the match, for Upton Rangers
Under 14s took advantage of a defeat by Manor Torpedoes in their derby match against Manor Jets to go top, after a close and hard fought 2 – 1 win over Birkenhead Youth. All the players put in maximum effort, no one more so than Shannon Navarro, who scored both goals and was player of the match
Under 16s took an early lead against Greenleas and went on to win comfortably with goals from player of the match Leah McNay (3); Isabel Nolan (2); Jodie Williams (2); Nifa Duggan (2); Gabrielle Williams (2); Lauren Madden; and Katie Murray





The Under 11’s lost to JFC Greasby at the Delph.  Man of the Match was Alex Clarke who also scored a consolation goal.


The Under 12’s continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 4-0 win against Glenavon Eagles.  David Thomas was Man of the Match and also scored one of the goals.  Connor Jones (2) and K Platt (1) added to the tally. 


The Under 13’s were in cup action this week against Glenavon were a late flurry of goals saw them lose the lead and go out 8-2.


The Under 14’s lost at home to Heswall 7-0 in what was an encouraging display for large parts of the game with lack of numbers again affecting them,  Jamie Anthony picked up the Man of the Match award.


The Under 15?s recorded their first win of the season with a convincing 10-0 win against Manor Milan.   Man of the Match Harry Waterman bagged six of the goals with two from Mike Cooper and one each from Jake Hughes and Johnny Turk. 



Youth Teams


The Under 17’s beat Beb Athletic 3-0 to go top of the table thanks to 2 goals from Joe Murray and 1 from Alex Pitt.


The Under 18’s came from 2 goals down against title favourites Christleton to level before conceding another 2 and going down 4-2 in a good game.





The Open Age conceded a last minute penalty to lose 4-3 against FC Victoria.
